Review of Pride & Prejudice

Pride and Prejudice is a story of love and life among English gentility. Mr Bennet is an English gentleman living in Hartfordshire with his overbearing wife. The Bennets have 5 daughters include the beautiful Jane, the clever Elizabeth, the bookish Mary, the immature Kitty and the wild Lydia. Unfortunately for the Bennets, if Mr. Bennet dies, their house will be inherited by a distant cousin whom they have never met, so the family's future happiness and security is dependant on the daughters making good marriages.
Life is uneventful until the arrival in the neighborhood of the rich gentleman Mr. Bingley, who rents a large house so he can spend the summer in the country. Mr. Bingley brings with him his sister and the dashing but proud Mr. Darcy. Love is soon in the air for one of the Bennet sisters, while another may have jumped to a hasty prejudgment. For the Bennet sisters many trials and tribulations stand between them and their happiness, including class, gossip and scandal.

Pride & Prejudice

1-How is voice-over used in the trailer for Pride and Prejudice? What does it actually say and how does it help to tie the trailer together?

The voice-over is the narrator.
Darcy gets a marriage proposal and she falles in love and the voice of Elizabeth is saying that.

2-The trailer concentrates on Keira Knightley - why do you think this is?

Because she is
the most important personage in the film.

3-The trailer seems to be in two halves - the first half leads up to the first appearance of Mr Darcy. The second part deals almost exclusively with Mr Darcy and Elisabeth.
What information about the story is given in the first half of the trailer?
How is the relationship between Mr Darcy and Elizabeth portrayed in the second half of the trailer?

The first half explains the hapiness of the family and the second part explains how all the things changes because they get in love, and get married.

4-What atmosphere is created by the music in the trailer?

Buuff this is difficult because depending on the scene the music is changing.

5-From viewing the trailer, write down your ideas about what will happen in the film and what genre it fits into.

I'm not a fortune-teller.. jajajaja but one thing is sure, that all will finish well and they all will live happy :D .It's a love story, thought it might be a drama too.
